So they are not quite the single target threat birds are, they are weaker with AOE than Int mages, and don't have any real advantage over either IMO. Tbh STR is just a broken stat and needs a rework because EVERY dps class needs str, even mage. This is also why knux sucks cos it doesnt scale with STR.
And of course Magic Crash for Armor Break. This is why the knux class needs STR for a dps build even though it doesnt increase any of its stats. Main damaging skills are Magic: Magic Cannon and Nemesis. Additional and Special can focus on more INT, MATK, or Magic Pierce. And that means you'll need 6 staves, one for each element. They can provide excellent single target DPS when buffed but are still not as good as birds, especially since a Dex Mage will want some Int for skill damage as well. You'll need a weapon with Awakened Element, DTE, CRIT damage and CRIT damage. As far as i know mage depends on many dps skills like Finale, Canon and Nemesis and theres many kinds of mage dps like stuff - shield, stuff - MD and stuff without sup. > You need high evasion as a defensive measure on this build as you will be in melee range most of the time. Main Skill trees: Magic, Martial, Crusher, Wizard, Priest, Magic Warrior.
Im just gathering info from various sources and some from my own experiences. Currently impossible to build effectively. The thing about Dex mages is that, since enchantress skill damage is increased by Int through stat driven skills, Dex mages sacrifice skill damage for single target weapon damage. Specializes in offensive support and damage. maybe i just enjoy the dps side of things? seems to me a paladin is a watered down mage that's scared to die.?You're sort of right
TORAM ONLINE DPS MAGE BUILD FULL
I don't understand why dex mages arent as played as paladins, i was full int mage and repec'd to be able to use death set (talon) and i do 230 dps and over 270 with the dmg increase spell, add in aoe damage, heal & rev and for a level fifty my mage kicks ***.
